I don't know about hotels, but there are 3 things you *have* to do while visiting the Dead Sea:



1) Take *the* picture of each person lying on her/his back in the Dead Sea with their arms and legs pointing straight up out of the water.



2) Go up Massada (climb it if at all possible)



3) Visit Ein Gedi--at least the waterfall

the best hotels:

Golden Tulip and Nirvana. they both have a private beach - which is very important.

near the dead sea there is the place called Ein-Gedi which is really nice and healthy.

there is also a small reservation called "Eid-Pashcha" it's really gorgeous.
