Truthfully I don't know what to think.

Obama talked about "a Gaza controlled by Hamas with rockets raining down on Israel."

Obama told AIPAC today that "we must isolate Hamas."

Aaron David Miller, a veteran U.S. peace negotiator, said the fighting made "a difficult situation even tougher" and reduced the odds of success to near zero.

But Robert Malley, another former U.S. peace negotiator, said he thought the situation remained so fluid that it was risky to predict what kind of challenge Obama would confront when he took office.

He said there were a number of reasons to be pessimistic about the outcome. The Israeli offensive could, for example, lead to a prolonged occupation of Gaza, though "that is not Israel's first choice," said Malley, now with the International Crisis Group, a conflict-resolution organization in Washington.

On the other hand, he said, the crisis could strengthen the political position of Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak in national elections Feb. 10. Barak, of the Labor Party, is more moderate than Likud Party leader Benjamin Netanyahu, but has been trailing in the polls. Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, with the now-ruling Kadima party, also is running.

We cannot safely say anything.

President Bush had a peace plan in his policies while originally running for president, however this changed dramatically after 9/11.

For President Elect Barack Obama, who knows?

He says that he wishes to withdraw from Iraq but a wrenching event could well shift his policy back to that of President Bush's.

I personally wish such an event does not happen, but the future can never be set in stone.

How many Presidents have tried & tried to advance a Peace Plan? Obama's wont be any different than Clinton's as he's surrounding himself with the old Clinton crowd....

Additionally you cant FORCE a state to stop defending itself. Even this morning I read where the hamas are STILL firing their rockets, they defy logic and you cant negotiate intelligently with illogical fanatics!! In this case, proxies for Iran and we all know how logical the Iranian President is.....

Whatever will happen - Obama will have a better plan than Bush - but some things are beyond the control of any President of the US.

Good Luck!!!

I believe thw jews created this war so that Obama will have to dance along with the jews that control the American Government.

As long as there are no other Muslim countries involved in this there is no way this is going to work.

If you watch the world news headlines, there wasn't even ONE country protesting in favor of the Jews.

Even Mr. Sarkozy who is Jewish sees this as israel's fault.

Other knowledgable jews as Roseann Bar support the Palestinians.

Edit

I don't know why the jews here are always trying to "chat" with other users. Personally I don't want to answer to lies they post. Like another user who posted obscure links from some unreliable propaganda sources.

Here is a couple other of mine .
