I have a bunch of books I need to ship from Israel to New York. Does anyone out there know how to get them there cheap. Time is not a factor, only cost.

If its really alot of books crate them up and literally ship them meaning put them in a crate and put them on a ship. You can probably ship a thousand books for about a hundred bucks.

The post office is almost always the cheapest. If the books are all published in Israel, there is a special rate. If not, I think there is something similar to the US's "Media Rate". If you have a significant number of Israeli books, it may be cheapest to divide them up. Check with "Reshut Ha-Doar" or your local post office for more information.
