Here's the story (it's a rather famous story of Jewish-American lit):

So at the end of the story, the matchmaker Salzman's really upset because Leo is in love with his daughter Stella, just from looking at the picture. And when they finally do meet, he recites the kaddish.

I don't really get the ending. Could you explain it to me?
