No, thank god it is quiet. Well as quiet as Hammas could be.... Hammas learned that every time they fire a rocket at Israel, we will take immediate action and bomb Gaza with our planes. We will not let them get away with murder anymore. They are scared of us. We also bomb a lot of their weapons, so they don't really have much supply. They're probably saving what is left of it for emergencies.

The weather is nice I guess. :)

The water situation is not good at all. Starting from July we will have to use much, much less water than the amount we use today. If we will go over that certain amount we will be charged a big fine. Not good, but that's how it is...

Hope I helped! :)

I have changed your question to "how are things in Palestine now?"

They are as usual:

-11000 Palestinian POWs in israel.

- Gaza Strip is still under embargo, no food, no milk, no medical aid or equipment, no fuel, no books, no construction materials, no travel from/to, nothing!

- Still 100's of check points in West Bank, and settlements are continued to be built/expanded. While Palestinians are denied rights to any construction or development.

- Palestinians in the West Bank are denied access to their religious places of worship.

- The Apartheid Wall is still undercontruct, uprooting thousands of Palestinian farmland, and capturing water resources.

- In Jerusalem, Palestinians houses are still being threatened, and more evacuation orders are being pressed.

- In the land of 1984, the non-Jewish population (Muslims, Christian, and Druze) are being still being harassed daily, considered as 3rd class citezens, and threatened by foreign settler by the "transfer" plan.

- Millions of Palestinians are still being refused to Right to Return to their original homelands.

- Investigations in the late Gaza Holocaust continues.

- Hundreds of UN resolutions are awaiting the application by israel, since decades

- And Lots more

I haven't been there in a while, but it is probably better than when I was there and expected to be blown up everyday.

BTW: Amber B: Although I do read Al Jazeera (know thy enemy), they are the farthest thing from objective and truthful that exists in the "mainstream" media.

How are things in Israel right now?

The forecast is as follows:

100% chance of dark this evening.

Scattered light in the daytime.

10% chance of rockets and even less chance of peace.

Suggest taking a hat.

Besides the fact that it's freaking hot the past few days, everything is pretty quiet.

Two former ministers have been sentenced to long periods of prison time for corruption and theft, so yay for the reign of the law.

Gaza has been quiet too although one Palestinian got killed when a smuggling tunnel collapsed on him. Can't say I'm too sympathetic.

Sderot is still the same.... Probably will be for a very long time until something gets done about it. that's about the extent of my current knowledge.

Good on you for being interested while our media is saturated with reports about Michael Jacksons death. Even Al jeezera has is as their top story.

Despite that though Al jeezara is an excellent source if you wish to know what's going on at the moment, and far more accurate and unbiased than any answer you'll get here.

The Israelis are operating the longest running concentration camps known to mankind with a stamp of infinity in the occupied Palestine! Most of the old 'concentration camp’ survivors and their children have forgotten about old experience and they are taking revenge on Arabs for the European crimes!
