why is it that when i answered that yes i think a no fly zone would be good, as long as it goes both ways. meaning israel cannot fly over gaza but no rockets can be launched over israel either the pro palestinians gave me thumbs down?

so essentially then, pro palestinians are saying that israel cannot fly over them or attack them but they should be allowed to continue to attack israel?

what do you think? i say isnt that just typical!!!!!

I am against any violence; so I wouldn't give you a thumbs down; Some just don't want to read anymore they see a certain name and they immediately give it thumbs down; and this goes for both sides ; I don't like that because opinions can change and their is more to learn.....

Israel invites the rocket attacks as it gives them the excuse to bomb Gaza. In the West bank they knock down homes and mosques to provoke the Palestinians into action so they can build more settlements, but in Gaza they can't , so to provoke action there they rely on extra-judicial killings to get the Gazans to respond and then use their firework attacks to justify bombing them.Israel has no intention to get a peacefull settlement until the last Palestinian is in his grave. It may take time but it's a drip drip effect that eventually will have the desired effect. What is needed is a Kosovo style intervention with UN troops on the ground.

You see, in such an open and crude conflict, anyone who tries to be a bit on one side and a bit on the other, trying "to understand the other side´s motives" and playing a "pacifier", finally gets hit by both sides. So, when you say that a no-fly sone over Gaza would be a good idea, you get the thumbs down from israelis. And when you say that this aslo supposes that no rockets can be launched on Israel from Gaza, you get the thumbs down from pro- arabs.

From your answers, I could deduct that you are a very peaceful person and you prefer peace over anything else, practically at any price. For you, "peace" is the most important thing in the world and you are ready to pay practically any price for it. But many Israelis(including me) do not think so. There are more important things than peace, believe me. For example, I prefer to have another war than to have Jerusalem divided. I prefer to have 10 more wars than to have the arab state created in Judea and Samaria, just 30 kms from Jerusalem. But you are not Israeli and it´s difficult for you to understand that a peace based on the endless concessions in the Middle East leads to the final destruction.

No one can stop Israel from flying over anything, as for the Gaza it's been no mans land since Biblical times, today no one controls the terrorist organizations shooting from there, these are some of the bandits shooting, Army of Islam, Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Holy Jihad Brigades, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Al-Quds Brigades, Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades and there are about 15 more.

dropping some bombs is somewhat distinctive than invading and occupying a rustic. Clinton knew extra perfect than that. we've got a a million/2 million to million lifeless Iraqi voters. This has performed no longer something yet create terrorists and placed our u . s . a . 1000000000000 earnings debt. a million, one hundred missiles in 8 months??????/ Bush fired off that many in 2 days. perhaps you have selective memory.

And what if the pro-israelis are the ones who gave you thumbs down? Maybe they don't want the no-fly zone to go both ways? i.e. Israel can bomb Gaza whenever they want, but Hamas shouldn't be allowed to launch rockets, have you considered this possibility?

you can ignore them

actually i'm in favor for the no fly zone over gaza.

artillery is less accurate than aircrafts, and it'll make the Gazans miss the days when israel could pin point the Hamas terrorists.
