the Yasser Arafat International Airport and the seaport in Gaza which the Dutch and French started to build only to be destroyed by Israeli bombing wiping of the 4.5 million euros spent by these 2 countries. In fact should Israel pay compensation caused by their bombs.? Or will they employ the same delaying tactics that they used when construction first started

I hope it does, Gaza and it's people suffered alot in the past years and everyone deserves a decent life.

I hope one day Gaza will be the most visited tourist destination in the world and its Mediterranean coastline will be filled with luxury hotels and resorts.

I surely hope so.

I hope one thing above all and that is that Palestinians themselves will work towards that.

Meaning: in the end it means zip what others do, if it does not come out of the Palestinian spirit itself (see Irak).

Someone in here said: "Palestine will be free and prospereous from the moment that Palestinians love Palestinians more, than they hate Israel".

Too many years, too many resources, too much energy wasted on fighting instead of building.

Both international aid and Israeli aid have been entering Gaza for some time now.

The opening of the Rafah crossing does not change that or mean more aid in any way.

It does mean more freedom of movement.

BTW Israel didn't expel anyone in 1947, they chose to run away.

Sadly, until Israel has been punished by the international community, nothing will happen.

you can see from the link you put that the airport was constructed on 1998 with europe money long before Hamas controlled Gaza. Today no europe government would give a dollar to Hamas and we all know why.

As for the compensations, what a kind of distorted logic do you have ? you decided to play with fire and got burned and now you blame others and even expect a compensation ?!!

sure.

israel will give compensation. right after we get compensation from the arab countries surrounding us for attacking us several times, for ethnic cleansing of jews, and from the palestinians for attacking us and terrorizing our children.

when we will get these compensations, we will compensate the gazans.

what a joke. no western country recognize Hamas as a legit political movement.

Yes i really hope so my friend.

@Lara

My dear friend, you should at least give one proof of Arab involvement in the so called Jewish exodus from Arab lands and then ask for compensation. Until then, Jews should sue their own government and ask them for compensation. It was the Mossad and only Mossad who attacked ancient Jewish communities in Arab lands to encourage Jewish immigration - by making them believe Arabs want to kill them of course. Israeli history is full of these dirty tactics.

They don't compensate. It is one of their general principles of life. You know why???? Because compensation means giving your money to someone. That is something they will not even think about

I think so if they become organized.
