I was just watching this documentary about the US Army and how they make/force every soldier to eat everything they give them in the cafeteria and it's required to eat EVERYTHING. Do they do the same in the IDF?

i was in the idf and the answer is not. at least not when i was in it.
in fact basic training for me was a diet of anything i could peel, eg. fruit and boiled eggs ( i was really fussy then and didnt like a lot of the food). and a lot of chocolate.
also on my days off ( about once a month) i pigged out on my mums cooking and took a lot of non perishable food back with me

The Israel Defence Force (IDF)is a citizens army and nothing as foolish as being force fed would be acceptable.
There is a culture in the IDF of questioning and and reasoning which is quite unique in the Military world wide.
The IDF has several alternative cuisines including vegetarian.

Probably. Remember soliders must burn a load of calories. Being forced to eat it, is probably in their best interest in the long run. Lol
